So what was the client brief?
To design a cultural and glamping adventure through 'the Stans' for Alice and her family, with one overarching principle - 'make it as comfortable as possible, I don't usually do camping'!
How did we do?
My recent adventure to Uzbekistan and Tajikistan was both first-rate and highly memorable. It is such a rich mosaic of culture, mosques, bazaars, border crossings, and of course the Fann Mountains and its lakes which are pristine. I am so glad I had the chance to journey there before more tourists rush in. I am definitely not usually the camping type, but I felt really well taken care of - the tent as so spacious, and yes, it had also had a large, comfortable inflatable bed! The staff were also wonderful.
